Disaster Services provides immediate emergency assistance to victims of disaster and to disaster workers anywhere in its three county jurisdiction. This assistance may consist of Mass Care, Health Service, and Family Service, as well as necessary support services (Damage Assessment, Communications, Welfare Inquiry, and other support services).
The Chapter is mandated to provide these services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and to maintain an active cadre of trained volunteers to serve both locally and nationally.
